4th of July weekend

So, I realize that it has been a LONG time since I've blogged.  The end of the school year got CRAZY then I was shipped off to Europe for 10 days and when I got home for the summer (finally) I jumped right into work.  Right now I work 7 days a week at the gas station and 5 days a week at Kid Klub.  It keeps me super super busy.

Europe was great.  We spent 4 days in Scotland and I could go back right now if I could!! We moved on to England for the last 6 days spending most of our time in London.  It was a really great time and I am so thankful that I was able to go. 

umm...really there is not much going on in my life, just waiting for school to start up again and ya...that's about it. So untill next time :)

AHH!!

Ok, It's been a while since I've blogged.  We had spring break and then it has been a crazy week and it's only going to get worse!! This week is tech week for the musical here at WSC, "Little Shop of Horrors."  The show is going to be great and I am in the pit so this week we have rehearsal every night!  Opening night is Thursday at 7:30!!

But I have to remember to focus on school too! I have a couple tests this week and a paper due.  CRAZY CRAZY week.  But I might as well take the stress now because next week is my birthday! The big 21! I'm probably not going to do anything super fun until the following weekend though, I have too much to do to go out and party!

Oh well, everything aside, things will work out on the school front.  I just need to stay focused and get goin on my assignments.

I'm currently sitting in the library listening to the scary "The library is closing" music. Woot.  I'm done with my program notes, and both article review for piano.  All while studying for the Brass mid-term tomorrow. UGH!  There is so much going on and I know that it's only going to get busier!!

I'm super excited for this weekend.  After the choir concert on Thursday night, Kayla and I will be going to her house to have a par-tay.  (jk...) but ya we're gonna have a good time. Followed by observing at Omaha South, I can't wait.  Clay Blackman is such an awesome teacher.  I am so excited to see how he works in a classroom.  :)  (I know...super nerd) 

Friday night Kayla and I are going to Lincoln to see Mr. Eric Heithoff play in the Intercollegiate Honor Band.  He's gonna kick so serious butt.  :) Go buddy go!

And then Saturday all day with the seester.  She's my favorite person in the world :) 

And home on Sunday. Yay for this weekend/next week. :)

But we're getting kicked out of the library now so I'm gonna shut this down for the night!

Europe Tour!!

So on May 12th I will be boarding a big fat plane that will be flying out of Omaha to Chicago.  Then I'll hop on another plane that will be going to London then up to Edinburgh, Scotland where we will take the next 10 days to play in Scotland and England. 

I am pumped. 

Ok...backing up.  The WSC Wind Ensemble and Concert Choir will be traveling around Scotland and England and hitting up all the well known tour sites and also playing a couple concerts.  There is a group of about 30 of us going and I just made my last payment so I am locked in and ready to go.  Plane tickets ordered. Hotel rooms reserved.  I CAN'T WAIT!!

Best part of all of this is that I will be with some of my best friends even though I wish some other people were able to come along too.  It is going to be a blast though!  I am ready to pack my bags and board the plane.

71 days...We leave in 71 days.

So I've never really understood the point of a Blog but I have one going for my piano teaching stuff and I've realized that after I write down my thoughts after a lesson I feel so much better about everything!! I have a journal that I wirte in just about every night but that's more of a place to rant and get all the negitive thoughts out and I really don't have anywhere to put my positive thoughts!!

And cue blogging.

Like I said...i've blogged before but it was strictly for classes and whatnot, not for me.

So we'll see how this goes.
